In association with Laser Sports New Zealand and the Otago University Lasertag Society, we’re having our 3rd annual lasertag tournament!

Last year we had 7 teams, and was the largest regional tournament in NZ for 2017, so of course we are hoping to have more this year.

The tournament will be round-robin team Australasian style (2 shots/second, no stun etc.). Full list of rules will be made available soon.
Teams will be awarded 6 points for 1st place, 4 points for 2nd place and 2 points for 3rd place. The teams with the most points at the end wins (with average score breaking any ties)

Price: $25 per University/Polytech Student and $30 for anyone else.

The President will be getting spot prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Additionally, any E grade player on the top 3 teams (and each team must have at least one) can great free registration to the Christchurch Draft Tournament (Details at: https://www.facebook.com/events/657439087921903/)

Team Formation

Team Cap is at 9 teams
Teams are made up of 5 individuals.

For balancing/inclusivity, all teams MUST include at least 1 E Grade player (someone who has never participated in a NZ Comp before), although you are encouraged to have multiple E grades. All teams must also have no more than 2 C or above grade players.
